Manx Radio is in the running for two top awards.
Mandate presenter John Moss has been nominated for Reporter of the Year in the 2011 IRN News Awards.
The competition is open to all commercial radio stations of all sizes in the United Kingdom and the Crown dependencies.
At the same time, Claare ny Gael presenter Bob Carswell is on the shortlist for Radio Presenter/Personality of the Year in the Celtic Media Festival.
Manx Radio's programme controller Marc Tyley says such recognition is hugely important:
