CPD event to take place at the Manx Museum
An expert in preservation will deliver a talk on how to maintain the Island's historic buildings later this month.
Hosted by the Diocese of Sodor and Man and Manx National Heritage, Tobit Curteis is visiting for the event at the Manx Museum on 22 April.
It will focus on environmental factors such as heat, water and light and the effect they can have on a historic building.
Tobit has worked with Historic England and has even been involved in a project at St Thomas' Church in Douglas before.
Church Building Support Officer, Louise Whitelegg and John-Paul Walker, Historic Buildings Architect for MNH say the site, at the bottom of Crellin's Hill, is a good case study:
Professionals such as architects, engineers, surveyors and tradesmen etc are invited.
The Heritage Conservation: Managing Environmental Impacts in Historic Buildings CPD event will take place at the Manx Museum on 22 April.
