Adam Wood leaves next month after five years
President of Tynwald Clare Christian has paid tribute to outgoing Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood.
Mr Wood was in the chamber for his final sitting of Tynwald before he steps down from the post later this year.
In Tynwald this morning, she thanked him for his service to the Isle of Man.
Presenting him with a painting of a Manx shearwater, Mrs Christian said he'd sampled every facet of life the Island had to offer.
Mr Wood thanked the court, speaking fondly of his time on the Island and praising the Manx community and economy.
