Chief Minister blasts group after 2019 Laxey floods
A committee whose job it was to anticipate and safeguard against floods has been described by the Chief Minister as 'a disaster'.
Howard Quayle was detailing current flood measures designed to protect Laxey village.
He says after seeing the flood damage in 2019 he checked to see what the flood risk management committee had managed to achieve:
