Isle of Man Post Office says it’s putting up the prices of stamps in response to falling mail volume.
From April 2, it’ll cost 2p more to send a letter to a Manx address, and a penny more for UK mail.
Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office Geoff Corkish MHK says in the age of the internet, people are sending fewer letters but more parcels.
He says stamp prices are still reasonable:
Rolling delays see Manxman sailings cancelled
Assisted dying bill receiving 'due attention it deserves' in UK
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
Finish line in sight for Atlantic rowers
