Enthronement takes place this afternoon
The first woman to be appointed as a priest on the Isle of Man hopes the Manx public will get behind the Island's new bishop.
An enthronement ceremony for Patricia Hillas takes place at Cathedral Isle of Man this afternoon (16 November) as she becomes the 88th Bishop of Sodor and Man.
It comes following a difficult week for the Church of England which has seen the resignation of the Archibishop of Canterbury.
But Reverend Mary Railton-Crowder, who was based at All Saints Church between 2004 and 2007, is optimistic there'll be strong support for the new postholder:
