Staff and pupils at Onchan Primary School travelled back in time over 60 years today, to mark the anniversary of VE Day.
They put onĀ period clothing and danced the afternoon away to big band music while tea and cakes were served to the onlooking guests, many of whom have been involved in the 'Tell Me' project.
Its aim has been to help the Island's schoolchildren find out more about the older generations by interviewing them directly.
Pupil Leah has learned a lot, and teacher Natalie Jones says it's been brilliant for the children:

Plantation wood, telegraph poles and Satnav to be discussed in the House of Keys
Immigration changes designed to stop exploitation by 'bad eggs'
Contingency budget for horse tram tracks 'significantly increased'
Nursery group wants to 'bridge the gap' for families of two-year-olds
Orchestra hoping to attract 'different kind of audience' at next concert
