Year of Our Island garden opened in St John's
Children from 17 of the Island's primary schools have helped to create a community garden in the west of the Island.
Situated on the site of the former Farmers Arms in St John's, Blein Yn Ellan Ain was officially opened yesterday (25 June).
The youngsters have planned and planted displays depicting their own communities, and what makes them special.
It's part of the Year of Our Island celebrations, and celebrates the Isle of Man's UNESCO biosphere status.
Year of Our Island Project Manager Anna Goldsmith is encouraging the public to use the garden.
