A scheme to encourage youngsters across the Island to get behind the work of their local police officers is being unveiled in Laxey.
The Isle of Man Constabulary's first all-Island primary school liason programme is being launched at the village school this afternoon (Monday).
In the coming months, officers will visit all 35 primary schools in the Island to offer pupils advice on personal safety, behaviour and substance awareness.
The scheme will be symbolised by a cartoon policeman called Sam and his car MAN1E (Manny).
