
It's been announced the Princess Royal will visit the Isle of Man in July to preside over the annual sitting of Tynwald.
Her Royal Highness will represent the Queen at the St John's ceremony on Monday, July 7.
On the same day, the Princess will also officially open the Island's new Hospice at Strang.
The day before she will be the guest of the Lieutenant Governor for the annual Beat the Retreat at Government House.
The Princess Royal has visited the Island on several occasions in the 1970s and most recently in 2005 when she named Manx Sailing for the Disabled's new yacht, Pride of Mann ll.
