Plans go on display in Douglas
Priority routes for walking and cycling have been unveiled by government as part of its active travel strategy.
The focus is on an area within a 2.5 mile radius of Douglas town centre, as well as the Heritage Trail between Douglas and Peel.
The aim is for 20% of the Island's population to be regular active travellers by the next census in 2021.
Kate Lord-Brennan MLC is the member with political responsibility for the initiative:
The plans were put on display at Noa Bakehouse this morning, and will be available to view in the Sea Terminal between Monday and Friday next week.
