Outreach event to offer help at Christmas
The work of the Isle of Man Prison and Probation Service is being highlighted at an open day today.
It's also being used, however, to make people aware of the organisations they can turn to over the festive period if they need help.
Organisations which tackle issues such as alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, poverty and homelessness, loneliness, and mental health are all going to be present.
The open day is on at the Prison and Probation Service's headquarters, Tromode House in Cronkbourne village, between 3pm and 7pm.
What's known as a 'talking table' will be used as well, as Probation Service Officer Jessica Welch explains:
