'Best Little Prison in Britain' provoked mixed reaction
The governor of the Isle of Man Prison says there were elements of a TV show about the facility which he was pleased with, others not so much.
Bob McColm appeared on Manx Radio's Perspective programme alongside Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey and the department's chief executive, Dan Davies.
Mr Malarkey said the buck stopped with him regarding the programme, but overall, he thought it was 'fantastic' and 'great promotion for the Island'.
He also moved to quash certain rumours which had been flying round about the ITV show, like inmates were going to make money by appearing on reality shows:
