Jason Moore to stand in September's election
A second candidate has announced their intention to stand for Middle in the upcoming House of Keys General Election.
Jason Moore is a prison officer, and is standing as an independent candidate.
He lists housing, healthcare reform and food security as his priorities.
In a post on social media, Mr Moore said: "I love our island and we have some big decisions to make during the next administration that will affect us all. Decisions that we can’t shy away from and delay anymore. My commitment is simple: put the needs of our island first. Not vanity. Not waste. Not short term applause. But real lasting improvements that benefit the people who are lucky enough to call this island home."
The other candidate who's declared for the constituency is Andre Risha.
The election takes place on 24 September.
