One remaining prisoner at Victoria Road jail is still refusing prison meals.
Six prisoners started their hunger strike last week in protest at the smoking ban which was introduced in the prison in March, but five have now abandoned the protest.
The Department of Home Affairs says they were being monitored by members of the prison healthcare team and each had a personal care plan.
The prisoners are also being seen regularly by their personal officers.
None of them are currently giving any cause for concern regarding their health, but all will be closely observed for any changes.
