
Four prisoners accused of attacking a fellow inmate on Wednesday have appeared before the high bailiff.
The four are 24-year-old Geoffrey Barber of Willaston Crescent, Douglas, 27-year-old Gavin William Patterson of Ballanawin, The Strang, and two men who appeared care of the prison Michael Joshua Hall, who's 27 and Ben Edward Clark, who's 24.
They've all been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm in relation to an alleged attack on a Craig Varey.
All four have been remanded in custody by the high bailiff and will make further appearances next week.
