Inmates help donation drive
Two inmates at the Isle of Man Prison have refurbished over one thousand red collection boxes for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Phil McCarthy and Frankie Thompson spent six weeks stripping down and re-labelling the boxes ready for distribution to shop counters across the Island.
They were delivered to the Legion's Hilary Cleverly, Veronica Fairhurst, and Peter Chadney, who say the work has been 'invaluable' ahead of this year's collection.
It marks the charity's largest fundraising campaign, supporting their work with veterans and the Armed Forces community.
Remembrance Sunday falls on 12 November this year.
