Events scheduled for Laxey and Ballaugh
The public are being made aware of two private firework displays are taking place on the Island this evening (Sat 18)
The first is at the Salmon Centre on Wheel Hill in Laxey between 9.15 and 10pm. If the weather isn't suitable, this will take place tomorrow (Sun 19th) at Friendly Acre on Cooil Avenue in Kirk Michael at the same time.
The second display scheduled for today is at Ballacooiley Private Estate, Dollagh, Ballaugh, between 11 and 11.20pm.
Fire services say as usual, it's best to ensure domestic animals in the area are kept safely indoors.
