21-year-old admits being disorderly on licensed premises
A Ramsey woman has been ordered to work with the probation service for a year after hitting a man over the head with a bar stool.
Bethany Storm Radcliffe, of Pairk Ollay, was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse after pleading guilty to displaying disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.
Police were called to The Riddler Under The Nest, in Port Erin, just after midnight on 8 May last year; the 21-year-old had intervened in a dispute between her partner and another man.
Radcliffe’s advocate described her behaviour as ‘poor decision making’ saying she’d been trying to restrain the individual but adding: “She does accept that her actions were unacceptable.”
Ordering her to pay £125 in prosecution costs Magistrates told Radcliffe it was a ‘reckless act’ adding: “Hopefully this will be your last visit to a court.”
