Unions currently taking industrial action short of a strike
Unions need to see "significant progress" on a pay deal to avoid a teachers strike.
That's the message from the NASUWT, which joins the NAHT and ASCL in taking industrial action short of a walkout when schools return from their half-term break on Monday.
It means members will still be teaching lessons, but skipping activities such as attending meetings and overseeing after-school clubs.
Local negotiating secretary Geraldine O'Neill insists teachers are keen to avoid a strike:
