Display planned across July
A First World War memorial with a creative twist will be on display to the public this summer.
Thousands of hand-made poppies are being contributed to the project - originally, it was hoped that 2,152 could be collected... one for each of the Manx soldiers that died or were wounded a hundred years ago.
But the running total has surpassed that by far, already eclipsing the 3,500 mark, with some coming from the other side of the world in Australia.
Project coordinator Gill Nicholls told Manx Radio what she hopes to do with them all:
Health minister to give statement on Hospice funding
Majority of people on IOM not satisfied with travel options
Gandeys Circus cancels Sunday shows due to high winds
Final round of bus strike action gets underway
Hospice redundancies decision "tough to make but the right thing to do", says CEO
