Contractors will begin on Monday
Parking will be suspended on Douglas promenade next week so new tarmac can be laid.
Motorists will be unable to park on the seaward side between Marathon Terrace and Palace View Terrace.
From Monday (6 September) Auldyn Construction will start work to raise the iron works and remove the temporary tarmac.
The parking will be reinstated as construction moves along the promenade.
Laying tarmac work will commence on the seaward side from Strathallan to Marathon Terrace from next week. Please note that from Monday 6 September a parking suspension will be in place from Marathon Terrace south to Palace View Terrace (seaside only).
