Hopes to re-arrange meetings before practice closes in June
Two public meetings over the closure of the Promenade Medical Centre have been cancelled because of the ban on gatherings during the coronavirus outbreak.
They were due to take place at the South Douglas Old Friends Association tomorrow (Weds) and next Monday.
The surgery is due to close towards the end of June.
Patients have been told they will be able to arrange a phone call or video consultation with a doctor and they have been informed about which practice they are being reassigned to. It's hoped a meeting can be arranged before the practice closes.
