Flights to and from Ronaldsway are getting under way again, following last night's sudden reopening of British airspace.
Manx2.com's first service to Blackpool left on time and the company expected to be operating as normal today.
Airport director Anne Reynolds says that even before the skies were opened last night, she and her colleagues had been expecting flights from lunchtime.
Airlines such as Flybe and Aer Arran cancelled some of their morning services, but are looking to fly later on:
