Manx Telecom Bay Festival organisers are urging people to buy tickets for the three-day event, after what they say have been disappointing sales.
The line-up features stars such as Westlife, Tiny Tempah and Tinchy Strider, but promoters say so far few tickets have been sold.
Jonathan Irving says he is holding talks with more potential sponsors over the weekend and may be forced to tweak the festival format.
However, if enough people buy tickets, the £1.5 million event will still go ahead as planned:
