Market 'strong' with prices 'stable'

Property sales worth over £5.2 million were recorded at the land registry in the month of April, according to local website propertyprices.im

The figure was made up from 168 property sales, which translates to an average unit price of £340,618.

The Island's property market remains relatively strong according to a local estate agent with prices stable.

In contrast, the recent Nationwide survey reported an average drop in house prices in England of around seven percent between March and April, attributed in part to a rise in Stamp Duty rates.
