Peter Reid makes second attempt to enter Legislative Council

A prospective MLC says he’s keen to understand the Isle of Man’s legislation in a ‘deeper way’.

Peter Reid is one of 15 candidates hoping to take one of four available seats on the Legislative Council next month.

He’s hoping his previous experience in the Island’s finance sector, as well as on boards and committees, will help him on his second attempt to get into the Upper House.

Mr Reid says he frequently had to read extensive reports throughout his career:
