Campaigner questions whether there should be charges for doctor's appointments
A prospective MLC says she’s aware that taking on the leadership role will mean making unpopular decisions.
Dyslexia campaigner Julia Bell has put herself forward for the upcoming Legislative Council election.
It takes place on 4 March.
Four MLCs are coming to the end of their terms – Bill Henderson, Peter Greenhill, Kerry Sharpe and Rob Mercer; Mr Greenhill has confirmed he won’t be re-standing.
Mrs Bell says her qualities include having ‘grit and determination’.
And she says she’s ready to consider options which the public might not like:
