Breast Cancer Now says it's had written assurances from government ministers
A planned protest against proposals to reduce the frequency of breast cancer screenings on the Island has been cancelled.
It's after government confirmed any changes would be properly communicated and consulted on following concerns raised by the wording of Manx Care's Mandate.
Three charities - Breast Cancer Now, Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, and Isle of Man Breast Care - had been planning to peacefully protest outside this month's sitting of Tynwald on Tuesday.
