Protesters unimpressed by new charter
A social media group opposed to the Manx Gas standing charge structure claims the release of a customer charter is unsatisfactory.
The firm published the document this week following several protests.
Manx Gas has promised to refund those who have been overcharged, but insists customers in general aren't paying more than they did before.
The charter promises a full review of pricing, a commitment to invest in gas infrastructure and assurances over transparent communication with customers.
Barry Murphy from lobbying group Manx Gas Standing Charges and Cost isn't convinced, though:
