Protestors have gathered outside the House of Keys to make their views known about the closure of a Douglas care home.
Members of the Unite union who’ll be affected by the planned closure of Glenside carried signs and banners to get their message across as MHKs arrived for today's (Tuesday) sitting.
North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson, who represents the union in the Keys, was on hand as a 1,000 signature petition was presented to Chief Minister Allan Bell.
Although Mr Henderson agrees cuts have to be made, he claims the Department of Social Care is going about them the wrong way.
