The Isle of Man Wind Orchestra will perform the premier of a unique new piece of music, composed especially for them this afternoon.
To celebrate its 15th birthday, the orchestra commissioned freelance composer and conductor Colin Touchin to write the piece.
Colin's been in the Island this weekend to oversee rehearsals, and this afternoon his composition will be performed for the first time in a concert at St John's School, starting at 2.30pm.
It's described as a contemporary and easy-to-listen-to piece of music and Colin says there are strong Manx themes running through it:
