He has highlighted issues with communication and wants to make it more transparent
Port St Mary needs to 'move forward' according to David Scott, who's standing in this week's by-election.
He's highlighted issues with communication, as well as getting the golf club and pavilion 'sorted out'.
Residents can vote at Port St Mary Town Hall from 8am until 8pm on Thursday, 18 April.
Mr Scott says he hopes to make the local authority more transparent:

Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
Creamery managing director to leave role
Fast-tracked legislation was designed to close 'loophole of expanding problem'
