Rushen MHKs call for progress on reconstruction of route
A Rushen MHK says he's had a 'robust' exchange of views with the Department of Infrastructure over the lack of progress on the reconstruction of Port St Mary High Street.
The route was included for consideration by the Capital Investment Committee as part of this year's Budget.
Speaking on Manx Radio Juan Watterson and Michelle Haywood say officers have now told them the work won't be done in the current financial year.
Dr Haywood warns the route will 'just keep getting worse' until action is taken.
