Refused breath test after crashing car
A court’s heard a Port St Mary man who crashed his car later wouldn’t give a breath test.
Twenty-one-year-old Juan James Qualtrough, of Fistard Road, admitted drink-driving when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
Prosecution advocate Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing Qualtrough crashed his silver Renault Clio into a wall on Shore Road in Port St Mary at around 1am on 6 October.
Mrs Hughes adjourned the case for pre-sentencing reports and Qualtrough was bailed to appear again on 4 February.
