Stainless steel straws at Quids Inn
A Douglas pub is hoping to do its bit towards tackling plastic waste.
Quids Inn on Loch Promenade used to go through about 2,000 plastic straws a week.
That's more than one for every person in the Isle of Man in a year.
Bar staff have now ditched them in favour of a washable, stainless steel straw which they hope can be used over and over again.
Costing £1, proceeds from the straws will go toward the Manx Wildlife Trust's Wave Goodbye To Plastic appeal.
Landlord and SCUBA diving enthusiast Andy Saunders has seen the problems plastic causes first-hand.
