A member of Tynwald's watchdog on public spending is defending its work during the past five years.
Last November, East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw said the Public Accounts Committee's level of scrutiny was akin to, 'being mauled by your favourite duvet'.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Civil Sevice Commission, John Houghton MHK, launched a scathing attack on the committee, after it looked into the Corporate Leadership Group.
