The Manx Electricity Authority has this lunchtime announced it's putting its prices up by 2.5% from April 1.
With the 'prompt payment discount' being cut by 0.5% it means the public will effectively pay 3% more for its power from that date.
The MEA says this will add around £21.60 annually to the average domestic bill.
