Treasury member believes the income tax rise will be beneficial
A Treasury member believes the Manx public will be happy to pay a little more in tax if it means they have faster access to doctors and dentists.
Andrew Smith has been reacting to this week's Budget, which saw a 2% increase announced to higher rate income tax.
The rise will generate an additional £20m, which will be ringfenced for the health service.
Mr Smith hopes Island residents will see the benefit:
