Criticism of the Department of Education and Children's reported plans to end its pre-school and nursery education provision is gathering pace.
Hundreds of people have already joined a Facebook group set up to protest against the proposed move.
It was only created at 9.25am.
Manx Radio's Facebook page and numerous local forums are abuzz with people hitting out at the department.
A petition is being set up as well.
