New bid for permanent replacement to be ready for 2023
Members of the public may not be consulted over plans for a temporary TT scoreboard in 2022.
MHK Rob Callister is responsible for motorsport within the Department for Enterprise.
In 2018 it was determined there was only three years life left in the original structure - it was dismantled earlier this year.
Initial designs for a new scoreboard were rejected by Treasury which said the business case for it wasn't strong enough.
A new bid has now been submitted which aims to have the new-look board in place for 2023.
