New facility proposed for village
Laxey residents are invited to a public meeting tonight to find out more about plans to build a sewage treatment works in the village.
Representatives from Manx Utilities will be at the Pavilion in the Laxey Glen Gardens from 7pm to answer questions about the application for a new facility on eastern end of the village harbour.
Jamie Smith, the chairman of Garff Commissioners will oversee proceedings, and its understood members of the Best for Laxey opposition group will also be present.
