Backbench alliance says public needs to see gov't doing its bit to save costs
A political alliance of backbench MHKs says there will need to be public sector job cuts to address what it's described as a 'financial gap'.
The group, consisting of Claire Christian, Julie Edge and Chris Thomas, is calling for more transparency over government's spending.
Last week, it was revealed the number of full-time positions within the public service had increased by more than 250 in less than a year.
Mr Thomas says ultimately that figure needs to be reduced:
