A member of the Legislative Council is suggesting the work carried out in the upper chamber of the Manx parliament should receive more coverage from the Island's national broadcaster.
At today's sitting, Eddie Lowey, MLC, will ask whether Manx Radio complies with its mandate to give fair and equal treatment to public affairs when it doesn't advertise the fact LegCo is sitting.
He says the council has an important role revising the legislation put forward in the House of Keys, and the public should always be made aware when it is in session (play attached audio file):
This morning's sitting of the Legislative Council starts at half past ten.
Also on the order paper is the third reading of the Companies (Amendment) Bill, and the first reading of the Social Security (Amendment) Bill.
