Police in Douglas are appealing to the Manx public to help them trace a thief who has ruined a family's Christmas.
An intruder entered a house in Primrose Avenue via the back door in the early hours of Boxing Day, making off with a white HP Pavillion laptop, a Play Station 4 and cash, given as presents.
Officers say it was an opportunist theft by someone looking to snatch valuables while the occupants were asleep.
