Safety concern over heating element
There's call for Islanders to stop using a certain brand of tumble dryer immediately amid fears they could set on fire.
It's after reports of the heating element on a number of machines - made by electronics firm Logik - have overheated.
The dryers are sold at Currys - who say they're contacting people - and anyone who owns one is being asked to switch it off and unplug it at the mains.
If you have a Logik tumble dryer and have not yet been contacted by Currys, call Knowhow on 0344 561 6202.
