Publish date of Island housing study still not known

Chair of Housing and Communities Board wants it published 'as soon as possible'

It's still not known when the results from a study looking at the Isle of Man's housing requirements will be published.

The 'Objective Assessment of Housing Need' (OAHN) will make its recommendations on the assumption that targets set by the Island Plan and Economic Strategy are met.

The report was expected to cost between £50,000-£100,000, but it was revealed in the House of Keys to have come under budget at £39,600.

There were calls last month for the report to be published as soon as it was received by the Council of Ministers.

However Chair of the Housing and Communities Board David Ashford says it's still not been looked at:
