CWU says postal workers talks continue
The Communication Workers Union says it is shocked and disappointed a story was put out at the end of last week saying talks with the Isle of Man Post Office had ended without an agreement.
CWU negotiator Terry Pullinger says he was charged with formally presenting the union position following discussions last Thursday.
That response is to be sent to the post office board today and there are no firm plans in place for a third strike by postal workers.
Mr Pullinger says reaching a settlement is proving difficult because it's politicians rather than the board who are pulling the strings:
