Scheme will begin while Douglas prom works continue
Works to replace Pulrose Bridge will need to be "carefully choreographed" to ensure they don't cause traffic problems while the Douglas promenade scheme continues.
The £3.4million scheme is due to get underway in March, with works on the prom expected to continue until around June next year.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the 12-month project, but vehicles will be diverted.
