DEFA minister urges people to shop local where possible
People on the Isle of Man are being urged to shop local this winter to both support local businesses and reduce the carbon footprint.
That’s the message from the Environment, Food and Agriculture minister.
Clare Barber was responding to questions about food security in Tynwald this week.
She also confirmed that diversification and investment plans are being worked on by her department to further bolster food supplies:
